As Anishinaabe people hunting, trapping, fishing and medicine gathering are inherent rights and a cultural tradition.

By exercising our inherent rights we connect with mother earth and enhance our relationship to the land. Our relationship to the land assists our children and youth understand all our relations and how important connecting to the land is.
