The Child and Family Services Standing Committee is comprised of the CEOs from the four Authorities and the Director of Child and Family Services. The Standing Committee is the advisory body with legislated responsibility for promoting cooperation and collaboration across the CFS system and with other systems. The CEOs from the four Authorities and the Director of Child and Family Services for the Province of Manitoba – the Standing Committe – have legislated responsibility for promoting cooperation and collaboration across the system, and are focused on: Continuing implementation of the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry – Child Welfare Initiative (AJI-CWI), implementation of the Changes for Children initiative, and ongoing system development.
